| 21 December 2004 Transport Minister Nicol Stephen confirmed on the 21st Dec that the revised timetable for NorthLink’s Pentland Firth service will begin in February next year following recent discussions with local communities. A spokesperson for NorthLink said: "The revised timetable for Pentland Firth sailings will come into effect on Friday February 4, 2005. We will begin contacting those customers already booked to travel on January sailings affected by this postponement immediately, offering them an alternative sailing from our current schedule." | |
