Shetland: Mainland Accommodation
The Mainland of Shetland contains the parishes of Bigton, Sandwick, Sumburgh and Scalloway in the south, Aith and Walls in the west and Brae, North Roe, Northmavine and Vidlin in the North. The third largest island in Scotland, only smaller than Lewis and Skye, the mainland is a rough, rugged landscape, with moorland, farmland, cliffs and archaeological treasures, the most famous of which, Jarlshof, includes Bronze Age, Iron Age and Viking settlements.
Brae Hotel
The perfect base to use to explore the north of the island. Local amenities are all around us and ferries to the smaller isles are nearby. Our bedrooms are recently refurbished, our menus fresh and varied and our welcome warm.
