Inverness by Air

Inverness Airport is located 10 miles from the town. There are regular air services to UK cities.

Inverness by Bus

  • Stagecoach operate a regular coach service from Inverness to Scrabster as well as services further south.

Inverness by Rail

  • Scotrail operate regular rail services from Inverness to Thurso and Wick. There is also a rail service to the Kyle of Lochalsh (the gateway for the island of Skye) as well as services further south.

Train Passengers are advised to prebook Scrabster taxi travel for ferry connections due to the restricted bus timetable between Scrabster and Thurso

Northbound Travel to Scrabster
