Announcing the RNLI Open Day – Bressay Cruise 2019

The RNLI Open Day takes place on Saturday 8th June 2019; it’s a great day of fund-raising with stalls, homebakes, a BBQ and activities for all of the family on Lerwick’s Victoria Pier.
NorthLink Ferries will be also be taking part in the fund-raising activities; offering passengers a chance to sail from Holmsgarth round the island of Bressay on MV Hrossey.
This will be a great opportunity to see this lovely island from the sea; Bressay is famous for its wildlife and passengers will be able to view gannets and great many other seabirds.
The ferry may also be be joined by the Rescue Helicopter and Lifeboat at the back of Bressay; but this is subject to conditions and other factors.
Teas, coffee, soft drinks, sandwiches, RNLI memorabilia, and raffle and tombola tickets will be available to be purchased onboard.
There will also be live music during the cruise!

Ticket price (£8 for adults and £4 for children. Infants are free). All proceeds go to the Lerwick Lifeboat.
Check in between 13:00 and 13:30. The ferry will leave the berth at 14:00 and be back at 16:00.
Boarding cards will be available for collection from 09:00 on the day. All passengers will need to be onboard by 13:30.
Extra parking will be available in the loading lanes for anyone wishing to leave their car at the terminal.
