| 16th June 2010 NorthLink staff go the extra mile! Pictured with the Aberdeen Terminal staff, two crew members, Simon Jones and Campbell Brennan have recently toured round Europe by motorcycle raising funds for UNICEF. They will complete their tour tonight (16th June) by returning home to Shetland on the Hrossey, along with 170 other Simmer Dim Motorcycles. They have raised £1,800 so far - Well done chaps! |

| 14th May 2010 A small change can make a big difference! During NorthLink's annual refit period, sockets in all cabins were changed to new angled sockets, following customer feedback that the previous sockets didn't allow space for some plugs to fit. Now all plugs will fit! |

| 28th February 2010 The residents of Stromness in the Orkney Islands were greeted with the unusual sight of MV Hamnavoe and MV Hjaltland together at Stromness harbour, as the Hamnavoe returned from dry dock. MV Hjaltland, which normally covers the Aberdeen - Kirkwall - Lerwick route had been covering for the Hamnavoe on the Scrabster to Stromness run. |
