UK Mainland Accommodation and Businesses
When travelling north to the Orkney and Shetland islands with NorthLink Ferries, you will have to first visit the ports of Aberdeen on the East Coast and Scrabster on the North Coast of Scotland.
Both are extremely pleasant journeys, offering stunning highland scenery in both the Grampians and Caithness and Sutherland. Along the way, you may wish to take a break, and find some accommodation or a place to eat.
Below, you will soon find a great range of places to stay and visit on your way to the islands, and on your way back. In the North of Scotland, expect to stay in comfortable accommodation, enjoy delicious food, explore the fascinating history and find a warm Scottish welcome.
