NorthLink Ferries to Orkney and Shetland

Pentland Firth Update

Unfortunately, final mechanical checks prior to MV Hamnavoe resuming her timetabled service on Tuesday 21st May have indicated that further remedial work is required. This work will take 48 hrs to complete, therefore the vessel will now pick up her timetabled schedule on Thursday 23rd May.

The route will remain to be serviced by our freight vessel MV Helliar.

Alternative Travel

• Daily contact continues with Pentland Ferries. Courtesy buses remain in place to ensure alternative travel is available. Our customer service team are contacting affected passengers.
