NorthLink Ferries Sponsorship Scheme

Serco NorthLink Ferries has a sponsorship scheme available, on application, to schools, sports and community groups – including those involved in the Commonwealth Games –  with an annual value of £100,000.

Unlike the previous ‘Schools and Communities’ discount it has a formal application process to ensure that any discount or free travel is applied fairly and appropriately.

Applications are currently being called for the first of two funding rounds in 2013.  The deadline has been extended until 27th March.  Details on the application process can be found on the NorthLink Ferries website at http://www.northlinkferries.co.uk/sponsorship/

NorthLink Ferries continues support of RSPB Scotland community programme

NorthLink Ferries has gifted funds to nature organisation RSPB Scotland, helping to support the charity’s ongoing education programme in Orkney. The donation of over £2,200, which was was raised from last year’s nature cruise on board passenger vessel MV Hamnavoe, will help fund RSPB Scotland’s community outreach programme, which delivers outdoor education to young people across the islands.
