Stromness From the Sea – animation launch

Tuesday 6th May 2014

On the 6th of May 2014 We welcomed on board the MV Hamnavoe P6 Stromness Primary school pupils, teachers, family, friends and others involved with the project for a viewing of a fantastic animated film called Stromness From the Sea, created by the pupils.

It tells the story of Stromness and its relationship with the sea. We enjoyed watching the animation and unveiled a fantastic new visual on the back deck of the Hamnavoe (showing the highlights of the town) created by Iain Ashman, followed by a bite to eat for lunch.
