The NorthLink Open at the Stromness Golf Club

Saturday, 30th and Sunday 31st May was the 125th anniversary weekend for the Stromness Golf Club! NorthLink Ferries were proud to sponsor the NorthLink Open on Saturday, on a course that is close to many staff members hearts!

The sun shone brightly on the day and there was a great turn out – with some visitors coming from very far afield! Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to all who came along! Check out some of the pictures below!

Orkney drugs dog sets sail with NorthLink Ferries

A former Police Scotland dog set sail aboard NorthLink Ferries passenger vessel MV Hamnavoe this morning (Monday 10 September) to get a glimpse of his new life as a drugs detection dog in Orkney. Whisky, a nine-year-old yellow Labrador, and his handler, PC Matthew Watson, along with Sgt Niall Maclean, travelled on the ferry from Scrabster to Stromness for a two-day visit to meet Whisky’s new team.
