Burra Bears are beautiful hand-crafted teddy bears, made by talented maker Wendy Inkster in Burra, Shetland. They have lovely, friendly faces, and, as each one is made using a Fair Isle jumper (though other knitwear and material can also be used), each one is completely unique.
Hakon o’ Holmsgarth is one such Burra Bear, and he was the star of our ‘Week of discovery‘ video. He’s been hibernating in the NorthLink office for a couple of years since, but he has now woken up, feeling very hungry and looking for a new home!
