Please be aware of traffic delays due to roadworks on approach to Aberdeen City centre. Please ensure you allow plenty of time to arrive for check-in.

Check-in opens 120 minutes prior to departure at Aberdeen and Lerwick and 90 minutes prior to departure at Hatston, Stromness and Scrabster.

Check-in closes 30 minutes prior to departure at all ports and if you have not checked in at least 30 minutes prior to departure you will not be allowed on board.

Car drivers are recommended to check-in at least 1 hour prior to departure.

Pentland Firth Arrivals and Departures

M.V Hamnavoe

  • Arrived in Stromness at 20:01
  • The next sailing will depart Stromness at 09:00

Tuesday 17th February

  • Due to forecasted weather and tidal conditions M.V Hamnavoe’s AM sailings will now operate as follows:
  • The 06:30 sailing from Stromness to Scrabster will now depart at the later time of 09:00. ETA in Scrabster is 10:30.
  • The 08:45 sailing from Scrabster to Stromness will now depart at the later time of 11:15. ETA in Stromness is 12:45.
Aberdeen Arrivals and Departures

M.V Hrossey 

  • M.V Hrossey arrived in Aberdeen at 06:55 and departed at 16:44 sailing for Lerwick.
  • Scheduled time of arrival in Lerwick is 07:30.

M.V Hjaltland 

  • M.V Hjaltland was scheduled to depart Aberdeen sailing for Lerwick at 19:00.
  • Due to tidal constrictions this sailing will now depart at the earlier time of 18:30.

  • Final Passenger and car check-in is 18:00.
