There are many different accommodation types available on board NorthLink ships, all designed with your comfort in mind.
All cabins have en-suite facilities (including a shower, sink, toilet, soap, shower gel, towels and a hairdryer) and a television. Other details are listed below.
Includes:
Please note: Some Inside 2-berth cabins have twin beds and some have upper and lower bunks – one of your party may have to climb a ladder into bed. Also includes:
Booking cabin accommodation on overnight sailings is not mandatory, but passengers are encouraged to book a sleeping pod or reclining seat as it is not permittable to sleep on the deck or on bench seating on board.
Passengers who are travelling without accommodation can reserve reclining chairs when making their booking reservation.
Parents can reserve a large cots, small cots, Moses baskets (pictured above), and bed rails for babies and very young children, free of charge. The option during a booking to reserve these will appear if infants are booked on a journey.
Large cots measure 120cm x 45cm. Small cots measure 90cm x 40cm. Moses baskets measure 75cm x 30cm.
Cots can fit in cabins between the twin beds (only one cot per cabin will be able to fit). Please note – parents must provide their own blankets for baby, and large cots, small cots, and Moses baskets are not available for those travelling without a cabin.
For those who are not travelling in a cabin, there are also shower facilities available on board. Tokens for showers can be bought for £3, and towels can be hired at the ship’s reception. Towel hire is £2 with a deposit of £5. Shower tokens and towels are free of charge for Pod Lounge users.
