There are many different accommodation types available on board NorthLink ships, all designed with your comfort in mind. All cabins have en-suite facilities. Other details are listed below.

  • There is a £15 supplement for each pet – only one animal can be booked online. Please pay for additional animals at the port.

Cabin share scheme – buy a bed rather than a whole cabin

For those interested there is a cabin share scheme where you book a bed rather than a cabin with other travellers of the same gender. We ask that those choosing this option show consideration for their fellow travellers. Infants cannot be booked into shared cabins. During the COVID-19 outbreak sharing cabins are not available.

Reclining seats

Passengers who are travelling without accommodation can reserve reclining chairs when making their booking reservation.

Showers

If you do not have a cabin and would like to freshen up there are unisex public showers available. Shower tokens cost £3 and towels can be hired for £2 (with a £5 returnable deposit). Tokens are available from the reception, bar and shop with towels available from the reception and shop.

The showers last for 5 minutes and each shower has shower gel dispensers filled with Shetland Soap.
