Published: Tuesday 25th August 2026 NorthLink Ferries is pleased to see that the popular ‘Round Bressay’ RNLI fundraising trip will return this year, taking place on Saturday 29th August 2026 aboard MV Hrossey. Check-in will run from 09:45-10:30, with departure from Holmsgarth at 11:00, returning at 13:00. During the two-hour sailing, passengers can enjoy live music, souvenirs and a raffle, along with exceptional views of Bressay and the cliffs of Noss. All proceeds from this trip will go to the RNLI (who receive no government funding and relies on fundraising, donations and legacies) to help better train and equip its crew. NorthLink Ferries is proud to support this event once again, and extend thanks to the RNLI Lerwick Lifeboat for their continued dedication to saving lives at sea.
