  • Inter-Island Ferries: Orkney Ferries operate a regular passenger ferry service from Kirkwall to the islands of Shapinsay, Stronsay, Sanday, Eday, Westray, Papa Westray and North Ronaldsay. Other inter-island services can be taken from Stromness, Houton in Orphir and Tingwall in Evie.
  • Airport: Kirkwall Airport is located from the town centre of Kirkwall. There is a regular bus service from Kirkwall to the airport, operated by Stagecoach. Inter-island services are operated by Loganair.
