Peace and quiet to work or unwind – this is the Magnus Lounge on board the ferries to Shetland and Orkney. From a small fee, you will receive complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks, nibbles and other benefits.
On sailings from Aberdeen and Lerwick passengers booking entry to the Magnus Lounge can enjoy complimentary:
Space in the Magnus Lounge is limited, passengers who have purchased a Premium or Executive cabin will receive admission (as part of the cabin price) to the Magnus lounge. Entry to the Magnus Lounge can also be purchased online and on board. Please speak to the Lounge Manager to buy entry.
The Magnus Lounge customers can also enjoy a table dinner service on board MV Hjaltland and MV Hrossey, selecting from our menu of delicious meals made using locally locally sourced produce. Please note, meals are not included in the Magnus Lounge entry price.
The Lounge is open until 00:00.
The Magnus Lounge reopens for a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning between 06:00 to 08:00 (Aberdeen) and 06:30 to 08:30 (Lerwick). Hot filled rolls and a full cooked breakfast is available for an additional charge.
On sailings from Scrabster and Stromness, passengers booking entry to the Magnus Lounge can enjoy complimentary:
¹ A hot filled roll is available on morning sailings. ² A complimentary alcoholic drink from the fridge is available on afternoon and evening sailings.
Passengers who have purchased a Premium Bed and Breakfast cabin will receive free admission to the Magnus Lounge.
Hamnavoe Bed and Breakfast customers can also enjoy free access to the Magnus Lounge in the evening before sailing.
