The sailing from Hatston to Lerwick is an overnight journey. Passengers catch the ferry from Aberdeen, which arrives at Hatston at 23:00. It then departs Hatston, sailing on to Shetland and arriving the following morning in Lerwick at 07:30.
The sailing from Lerwick to Kirkwall takes place in the evening, leaving at 17:30 and arriving in Hatston at 23:00, before continuing southwards again at at 23:45, arriving in Aberdeen the following morning.
