Please read if you are travelling from Saturday 19th to Tuesday 22nd July 2025 The Tall Ships Races Aberdeen 2025 will see the majestic fleet of tall ships call in at Aberdeen Harbour from Saturday 19th to Tuesday 22nd July 2025. Hundreds of thousands of people will descend on the city for four days of celebrations, and there will be fun across the harbour for all ages, including concerts, displays, stalls, a funfair, Discovery Zone, bars and street food. During this time there may be disruption to routes leading into the NorthLink Aberdeen Ferry Terminal. Customers should be advised to factor this into their travel arrangements, particularly if travelling by car. Travelling by car Only vehicles travelling via NorthLink Ferries will be permitted access to Regents Road. Please ensure you have a valid booking reference number ready to be allowed in. You may have to queue for a short time before being granted access. To reduce queues, vehicles can check-in at the following times: DayCheck-in OpensCheck-in Closes Saturday 19th July10:0016:30 Sunday 20th July10:0016:30 Monday 21st July10:0018:30 Tuesday 22nd July10:0016:30 Those checking in more than 2 hours prior to departure will be permitted to leave their vehicles and the site. Drivers should return to their vehicles 2½ hours prior to departure. Please hold onto your boarding card so that you can be provided access via the pedestrian gate. Travelling by foot Pedestrian access between Market Street and the NorthLink Ferry Terminal will be provided via the normal route. JET 727 bus Morning pick-up from the terminal is unaffected by Tall Ships amendments. However the afternoon drop-off will be at Union Square instead of the Aberdeen Ferry Terminal. Pick-up and drop off There is a dedicated Tall Ships pick-up and drop-off point at Union Point. Drop-off at the Aberdeen Ferry Terminal for accessibility reasons is available for passengers upon request. Please contact us if you have any questions!
