Please note, there are roadworks near the Aberdeen Ferry Terminal and around Aberdeen city centre. There is also a new traffic management system in place at Guild Street which includes lanes for buses only. Please ensure you allow plenty of time to reach the Aberdeen Ferry Terminal for check-in.

Aberdeen by Road

Aberdeen Bus Station is located less than one mile from the ferry terminal. Local bus services are operated by First Aberdeen and longer distance services are operated by Citylink and Megabus.

Aberdeen by Rail

Aberdeen Railway Station is located less than one mile from the ferry terminal. There are regular services to / from Inverness, Edinburgh and Glasgow with onward connections.

Aberdeen by Air

Aberdeen Airport is located 7 miles from the ferry terminal. Several airlines provide regular services to/from major British and European cities.

There is a bus stop just outside the NorthLink Aberdeen Ferry Terminal for the 727 Jet Bus service to Aberdeen Airport. The service will operate at the following times:

Megabus operate daily coach services from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Dundee which arrive in time for our 1700 and 1900 departures. Megabus can be contacted on 0900 160 0900 (calls costs 60p per minute, mobile calls may vary) or at http://uk.megabus.com.

ScotRail
