Tuesday 9th January:

Once a month, we are selecting, at random, one of the well-behaved dogs that travels in the M.V. Hamnavoe’s dog lounge. The good dog will receive a special NorthLink Ferries dog bandana, and will star on our social media!

Well done to Rocco – this month’s Good Dog! We were surprised to discover after awarding Rocco his bandana that there were four of them, so we couldn’t resist a group photo! Pictured from left to right, is Reo, Mylo, Rocco and Cleo. Cleo and Mylo are the mum and dad of Rocco (boy) and Reo (girl).

Thursday 18th January:

To mark this year’s Shetland Fire Festival Season, we’ve teamed up with NorthLink Ferries to offer a fantastic prize. We’re offering one person the chance to win a return ferry trip from Aberdeen to Lerwick for four people, including a cabin and car.

For your chance to win, you can enter the competition here. The prize draw closes at 11.59pm on Saturday 16 March 2024.

Good luck to everyone who takes part!

Tuesday 30th January:

We were delighted to have once again hosted the Junior Up Helly Aa Jarl Squad lunch on board M.V. Hjaltland in Lerwick today.

Junior Jarl Skeppare Nokkvesson (aka Oran McCulloch) and his squad along with their family came on board for lunch, where the boys also received a tour of the bridge, and presented Captain Scott with their shield which will be displayed on board along with those from previous years.

We were proud to, along with Promote Shetland, once again sponsor the Up Helly Aa live webcam. If you missed it, you can re-watch the livestream here.

We hope that everyone who attended Up Helly Aa had an amazing time!
